Popularity should not determine whether what you chose to do is right or wrong. What is popular isn't always the right thing to do. For example watching everyone around you doing something that is wrong and only you are not, does not make it a good thing to do. You must make your own decisions and know what is best for you. What other people tell you or the decisions they make should not control what you decide to do. What is best is to do is make your own decisions because no one can determine your actions but yourself. No one can make you do anything as long as you don't let yourself get elad by bad influences.
