Coming to the health fair taught me about many services that I wasn't really aware of. For example, how to apply to medical at a low price. Some people suffer from economic problems and can't afford to spend on check-ups so they believe they don't have any other options. The health fair also showed me how undocumented people are eligible to receive medical care. The fair offered students volunteer opportunities, which is beneficial to receive the ours needed to graduate. Having these events is important, because they help bring knowledge into our community. Another reason why these events is so our community can be informed, and be able to know how to stay healthy. These fairs welcome all families and it is a great opportunity for people to receive knowledge about how to take care of their body.
